CALNUT (Calorie-Nutrition)
Calnut is a diet and nutrition computer program written in 1986
by Loia and Kent Crutcher. Based upon the daily requirements of the individual, the
software compares actual versus required intake of the following:
1. Calories - breaks down into percentage of protein, carbohydrates and fat.
2. Cholesterol.
3. Vitamin A, B1, B2, Niacin, and C.
4. Minerals of calcium, iron, sodium.
5. Fiber.
The daily report sheet provides a list of every food eaten and the respective
items detailed from the above items. An analysis of the applicable day and accumulated
days on file provides an excellent report that assists the user in monitoring daily
caloric intake while also watching vitamin, mineral, cholesterol and fiber intake.
It is a good little program that is easy to use.
We will mail the program to you free of charge, but we do ask for a $3 shipping
charge to cover our cost of disk, padded envelope and postage.
